This Privacy Policy describes how SeedsChoice (the “Site”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses your personal information when you visit, use our services, or make a purchase from SeedsChoice.com (the “Site”) or otherwise communicate with us regarding the Site (collectively, the “Services”). “You” and “your” means you as the user of the Services, whether you are a customer, website visitor, or another individual whose information we collect pursuant to this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect Directly from You

Information you submit to us through our Services may include:

  • Contact details (name, address, phone number, email).
  • Order information (billing/shipping address, payment confirmation, email, phone).
  • Account information (username, password, security questions and other account security info).
  • Shopping information (items viewed, cart items, purchases, saved account items such as loyalty points, reviews, referrals, gift cards).
  • Customer support information (the content you share when contacting us).

Some features require certain information. You may elect not to provide it, but doing so may prevent you from using those features.

Information We Collect about Your Usage

We may automatically collect certain information about your interaction with the Services (“Usage Data”) using cookies, pixels and similar technologies (“Cookies”). Usage Data may include device/browser info, network connection, IP address, and how you interact with the Services.

Information We Obtain from Third Parties

We may obtain information from vendors and service providers who collect information on our behalf, such as:

  • Companies supporting our Site and Services (e.g., Shopify).
  • Payment processors (e.g., card/bank details and billing address to process payments).
  • Partners that use online tracking technologies (pixels, web beacons, SDKs, third‑party libraries, cookies) when you visit our Site, open our emails, or interact with our Services/ads.

How We Use Your Personal Information

  • Providing Products and Services. To perform our contract with you: process payments, fulfill orders, send account/transaction notifications, manage your account, arrange shipping and returns, and related features. Shopify may match your account with other Shopify services you choose to use per Shopify’s privacy policies.
  • Marketing and Advertising. We may send marketing communications (email/SMS/post) and show ads. We may tailor Services/ads on our Site and other websites. For EEA residents, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in selling our products (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Security and Fraud Prevention. To detect/investigate possible fraudulent, illegal or malicious activity, and keep your account secure. For EEA residents, the legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Communicating with You & Service Improvement. To provide support and improve Services—our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Cookies

We use Cookies to power and improve our Site/Services (including remembering preferences), run analytics, and better understand usage. For Shopify‑specific cookies, see shopify.com/legal/cookies.

Most browsers accept Cookies by default, but you can set your browser to remove or reject them. Blocking Cookies may negatively impact your experience or certain features.

Our website recognizes the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If you enable GPC, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of sharing/targeted advertising for the associated browser/device and, where we can associate it to a Shopify account, we apply it to that account as well. Learn more at globalprivacycontrol.org. Other than GPC, we do not currently recognize other “Do Not Track” signals.

How We Disclose Personal Information

We may disclose personal information to third parties for contract fulfillment, legitimate purposes, and as otherwise described here, including:

  • Vendors/third parties performing services for us (IT, payment processing, analytics, support, cloud storage, fulfillment/shipping).
  • Business/marketing partners to provide services and advertise to you (under their own privacy notices).
  • When you direct/consent to disclosures (e.g., shipping requests, social media widgets, login integrations).
  • Our affiliates/within our corporate group.
  • In connection with business transactions (e.g., merger) and to comply with legal obligations, enforce terms, or protect rights/users.

Information you provide in public/semi‑public venues (e.g., social networks) may be viewable by others. Our inclusion of links does not imply endorsement unless stated.

Children’s Data

The Services are not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information about children. If you are a parent/guardian of a child who provided personal information, contact us to request deletion.

As of the Effective Date, we do not have actual knowledge that we “share” or “sell” personal information of individuals under 16 years of age.

Security and Retention of Your Information

No security measures are perfect, and information sent to us may not be secure in transit. Please avoid insecure channels for sensitive information.

Retention depends on factors such as account maintenance, provision of Services, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and enforcement of contracts/policies.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the rights below. These rights may apply only in certain circumstances and can be declined as permitted by law.

  • Access / Know – request access to personal information we hold about you and how we use/share it.
  • Delete – request deletion of personal information we maintain about you.
  • Correct – request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Portability – receive a copy of your personal information and request transfer to a third party in certain cases.
  • Opt out of Sale/Sharing/Targeted Advertising – direct us not to “sell” or “share” your information or to opt out of targeted advertising. If you visit our Site with GPC enabled, we treat it as an opt‑out request for that browser/device (and associated account where possible).
  • Restriction of Processing – request we stop or restrict processing.
  • Withdraw Consent – where processing is based on consent, withdraw at any time.
  • Appeal – appeal our decision if we decline your request.
  • Manage Communications – opt out of promotional emails via the unsubscribe link; we may still send transactional emails.

You can exercise rights where indicated on our Site or by contacting us (see Contact). We will not discriminate against you for exercising rights. We may verify your identity (e.g., email/account details) before responding. You may designate an authorized agent; we may require proof of authorization and direct verification.

Complaints

If you have complaints about our processing, please contact us (see Contact). If you are not satisfied with our response, you may have the right to appeal to us or lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. For the EEA, a list of supervisory authorities is available here.

International Users

We may transfer, store and process your personal information outside your country. Staff, service providers and partners in those countries may process your information.

If we transfer personal information out of Europe, we rely on recognized mechanisms such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (or UK equivalents) unless the destination country has been deemed adequate.
